A Message From Our Team!!
We are truly humbled to be hosting the 2nd Annual Elevated Escape, August 21–23 at Camp Waub-O-Jeeg in Taylors Falls.
This year, we made a major shift in our programming with one purpose in mind: supporting the mental well-being of the people of this great state.
We believe healing can begin with something as simple as getting outside, slowing down, putting the phone away, and surrounding yourself with community. Sometimes we need space away from the noise of everyday life to breathe, reconnect with ourselves, and remember that we don’t have to navigate everything alone.
That is what the Elevated Escape is about.
A Weekend Built Around Connection
From the moment the doors open Friday morning, there will be opportunities throughout the campground to participate, learn, create, listen, move, or simply be.
This year’s programming brings together an incredible variety of experiences, including open meditation, hypnotherapy, Tai Chi, sound healing, singing circles, journaling, numerology, tea making, foraging, cannabis education, endocannabinoid system education, Puff N Paint sessions, community meals, live music, Kava, campfires, and more.
Friday gives everyone a chance to settle into camp and connect. Programming includes meditation, Moon Lit Grove Hypnotherapy, Aluna Alignment Method, singing bowls, a camp-wide journaling hour, Tai Chi, networking at the Pavilion, our Italian Community Dinner, Opening Kava Ceremony, live music, and an evening Breath Room experience.
Saturday is our biggest day. Start the morning with Tai Chi: Rooted in Harmony, head out on a guided Foraging Hike, participate in workshops such as MN Cannabis 101, Journey Back to Self, Understanding the Endocannabinoid System, Numerology, Singing Circle, Pan Drumming, and How to Make Moon Tea, or spend some creative time at one of our Rooted in Peace: Puff N Paint sessions.
The Pavilion will also host our Rise and Restore Brunch, How to Make Hash demonstration, and Classic Cookout, while the Living Breezy Stage carries us into the evening with live performances from Will Effertz, MPLS Drew, and our Saturday night headliner Nur-D.
Throughout the weekend, you will also find community fires, a Kava Lounge, coffee and tea, community meals, camp-wide activities, and plenty of room to simply sit with good people under the trees.
Sunday intentionally slows things down with Aluna Alignment Method, Moon Lit Grove Hypnotherapy, and our Closing Circle before everyone begins the journey home.
Come As You Are
You don’t have to participate in everything. In fact, you don’t have to participate in anything.
Take what you need from the weekend.
Attend a workshop. Sit around a fire. Listen to live music. Paint something. Take a walk through the woods. Share a meal with someone you’ve never met. Have a conversation you didn’t know you needed. Or find a quiet place and simply breathe.
The Elevated Escape isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about creating a space where people from different walks of life can come together, reconnect with nature, experience new approaches to wellness, and build genuine human connection.
To our facilitators, musicians, healers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, staff, and every person who has helped bring this weekend together: thank you. We are incredibly humbled by the community that has stepped forward to make this possible.
And to everyone joining us this year — we cannot wait to welcome you.
Three days. One campground. One community.
Unplug. Reset. Reconnect.
With gratitude,
The ElevateMN Team
